This site is something I wanted to build for a while. A personal project where I can share what I’ve learned from five years of nomad life (and continue to learn myself).
Our first country is Brazil. I spent time learning Portuguese a few years back, so this deep dive into local .gov websites with bureaucratic language feels personal. I always felt that the interest in this country among remote workers was underserved by quality information.

What’s Next with Digital Nomad Guide?
Brazil is just the beginning. I’m working on guides for other LatAm destinations. I’m especially interested in the countries of South America with a digital nomad visa program.
Beyond visas, I want to dig into real estate. Buying property abroad as a foreigner comes with its own set of rules, restrictions, and surprises. Most nomad content skips this entirely because it’s complex and doesn’t fit the “laptop on the beach” narrative. But people do settle down eventually, and good information on this is hard to find.
No fixed publishing schedule. Quality over quantity. If you have suggestions for countries or topics you’d like to see covered, I’m all ears.
